“Gone but never forgotten.”
Yolanda Candlelight Memorial 2015 (Tacloban City, Philippines) – Just like that, it’s been 2 years now, the wounds might have healed for some, but the scars remain.
In November 8, 2013, the strongest recorded typhoon in human history to have ever made landfall, Typhoon Yolanda (International name: Haiyan), struck Tacloban City and its region, the damage and toll that it brought was unimaginable. Many have lost. Lives were lost. It’s painful to have gone all through of these. Remembering the past, but moving on… My prayers as always to those who have been deeply scarred by this historic event. Let faith, hope, love, peace, compassion, humility and kindness triumph.
