Want to take better photos?
Wake up early and shoot the sunrise… or late in the afternoon for the sunset.
Why? because the light is not harsh. The noontime light can be unforgiving. It’s said that photographers sleep during the unholy hours of noon, I wish I could do that, but I got to work LOL!
The sunrise and sunset produces the best colors you can get on a given day. They are subtle, they can come in different hues, the play between highlight and shadow is just right.
Sometimes I’m lazy (replace “sometimes” with “most of the times” — evil laugh!). But if I want to get better photos, I have to work hard for it and earn it. Here’s one taken the other day, the 26th of January 2012:
Photographer’s note: F/8, 1/320, ISO 160, Panasonic G3, Panasonic 7-14mm 4, Marumi tripod
