I’m still like a young boy when it comes to shooting in slow shutter speed. I’m still fascinated with those interesting effects like light trails. The Sangyaw Carnival at the Tacloban Astrodome was just screaming for me to shoot with slow shutter speed. I hesitated carting along a tripod when I brought along my Nikon DSLR kit, either it was a bit impractical to bring along one or I was too lazy to do so (more on the 2nd reason I guess LOL!).
With the Panasonic G3 in my bag, I was able to bring my lightweight Marumi tripod without being cumbersome and obvious. I’m glad I have invested on the Micro Four Thirds a few years back, 2009 to be exact. Now that this systems has already matured, I’m happy to have learned the ropes, know its abilities and limitations. My photographic journeys goes on… Cheers!
Photographer’s note: F/11, 8 sec, ISO 160, Panasonic G3, Panasonic 7-14mm 4
