Santo Niño Church after Typhoon Yolanda

Santo Niño Church after Typhoon Yolanda. Much have been destroyed, and even churches were not spared from the typhoon. This church is particularly important to the people of Tacloban City since this houses the patron saint of the city – the Senior Santo Niño of Tacloban. It is currently undergoing massive repairs, and has to temporarily relocate its church services to Rizal Park, right across the church. It’s noteworthy to mention that the Taiwan Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation has also helped in rebuilding the church. The Tzu Chi Foundation has earned its admiration from the community especially for the many typhoon victims who benefited from the kindness and compassion of the Tzu Chi Foundation and its members. One word – amazing.
