Sangyaw Festival at the Balyuan Amphitheater

The Sangyaw Festival culminated at the Balyuan Amphitheater. After the “Parade of Lights” around the major streets of Tacloban City, the festival ended with stage performances by the different participants of the parade, mostly from the different schools in the region. It was also noteworthy to share that the performers were the teachers and professors of the schools, and the crowd cheering were mostly students. A quite refreshing experience.

Photographically speaking, it was not as exciting as I was on the streets. I think I’m more at home doing street photography. The spontaneity of the streets is what draws me. Having said that on the other hand, a lot of questions “haunting” me in the past (and until now hehe) is when will I get to open up a studio… I was just asked again the other day. It’s a sign! LOL. Well, only time will tell. One thing I can say is if I do it, it’s all for the love of what I do more than any other thing else.

For the meantime, keep rockin’…
