I’ll share some Pintados Kasadyaan festival portraits. I used only 2 lenses for the entire Pintados and Sangyaw festival shoots. I think they were up to the job. I like to work with prime lenses, it makes you more careful of composition and angle. A zoom lens will be a safe lens to use, but when using a prime lens, it forces you to work on that focal length. I will continue to use prime lenses when the situation permits. I ended up with the combination of 24mm and 85mm, I find it very solid. You can play around with your 2-lens kit, there are a lot of configurations you can make, depending on the shoot at hand; and for me, my mood also dictates what to bring hehe. My shooting style has probably evolved through the years – for better, for worse? Who cares. As long as I continue to love what I do. Keep clickin’!
