My Yolanda Photowalk – A year after… November 8, 2014 – I spent the day hopping from one place to the other, trying to catch a glimpse of the life exactly a year after typhoon Yolanda devastated Tacloban City and the region. Remembering the loved ones who left us on this fateful day is probably the most painful experience any typhoon survivor can endure. We can’t help it but the experience brought about by this typhoon will be felt, remembered and will remain for the rest of our lifetime. It’s been a year now, but some of the moments I encountered like at the mass graves in San Joaquin, Palo (see photos below) were very emotional and sentimental. I can’t help but be overwhelmed by those moments, in a way found it difficult to click the shutter. I can feel their pain – it seemed so fresh for most of them. I offer my sympathies and continued prayers. God bless and heal our land.
