I wanna share my Pintados experience. I’ve been shooting the festival for a number of years now. One thing I felt is every year it’s getting different. And it’s not something new, last year (2011), the Pintados parade was stopped in the middle of the streets while entering the main streets of the city. Gggrrr… what happened? I don’t want to dwell into that, the rest is history. One thing I can say is it’s not good for photographers, all the more for the public at large. I’m posting here not as a blogger with any political colors, but from a photographer’s perspective.
