When I was a kid not so long time ago… (hehe), I always wondered how they did those photos with light trails. Those city night shots with “laser-like” lights on the streets, you know what I mean. I was always fascinated about that effect, and said to myself someday I’m gonna shoot one….
Until now, that kid in me still lingers and would always jump to the opportunity to shoot one. I just love it. Slow shutter speed. Keeping your shutter speed open as long as possible will enable you to capture the light trailing from moving cars. Remember a tripod or a steady support is needed, the photo below was not shot with a tripod, but had to find ways for steady support.
I like to slow down at times. Living on the fast lane ain’t good, so we must slow down for a while, for photography, for life.
