Sometimes, landscape with a telephoto lens can get the job done. We always equate wide angle lenses to landscape photography, while it is the more appropriate lens to use, sometimes a telephoto lens can be effective. It can create an interesting compression of the elements in a photo – creating a perspective of near and far objects to be closer than it is compared to same shot taken with a wide angle lens. My longest focal length is only a 200mm, most of the times it is enough for me, but I have seen some amazing landscapes using longer focal lengths than 200mm. Try it.
