December 7, 2014, Tacloban City: Hours After Typhoon Hagupit (Ruby) — It was more than 12 agonizing hours of relentless rain and battering winds, the sheer thundering sound of it certainly keeps you on your senses for the whole duration of the storm. The experience was extraordinary! Nevertheless, thank God we survived and nothing catastrophic happened to our city. Still I pity and sympathize those who had lost a lot from this calamity especially those who lost their loved ones. We can’t afford any one more typhoon this strong after Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) devastated our city last November 8, 2013. Back to restoring what was lost from Ruby while still reeling to recover from Yolanda. The power of prayers and sheer faith are what drives us to move on. Thank you and may God bless and heal our land.
