  • xdayv - Jerome hi, it is because of a number of factors, the aperture used, the focal length, the distance of the subjects from the camera, and; the distance between the foreground and background. These variables affect the DOF (Depth of Field). Example, in the photo above, a small f-stop was used to maximize the DOF. The smaller the f-stop (opening of the aperture), the deeper the DOF will be. HTH!ReplyCancel
