Controlling light in flash photography means one has to understand the behaviour of light. Light has shape and form. We can manipulate these to our advantage. It’s not just putting multiple remote flashes around the subject and fire it away. The 45 degree placement of the flash towards the subject is an overused setup, try something different, I like to bend the rules sometimes.
