Just like in any portrait, candid or street photography, capturing emotions in the photos is more important than simply lighting and posing the subject technically well. If you combine a technically well-taken photo with the right emotions, it is as good as it can get.
To push myself a little more, this is not the usual portrait, and it’s far more challenging to shoot pets or animals. That’s why wildlife photos that are packed with emotions are simply winners in my book. Anyway, here is a poor attempt, a 2 week-old Pomeranian with her mom. I hope I was able to capture something here. Cheers!
