They earn P5.00 (peso) per one sack of rocks and stones gathered from a quarry to be delivered to a buyer. That’s roughly $0.11 cents a sack. They have to work so hard to earn for a living and make ends meet.
A constant reminder for me that I have the many everyday amenities I tend to overlook and appreciate. I am fortunate (especially through photography) to be reminded of this from time to time.
